What is mental health?

 





Emotional, psychological, and social well-being all fall under the mental health category. It influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions. It also impacts how we interact with people, manage stress, and make decisions. From childhood and youth through maturity, mental health is crucial at every stage of life. Poor mental health and mental illness are not the same things, despite the frequent confusion between the two terms. Even if a person does not have a mental disorder, they may have poor mental health.
